Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) and PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) are strengthening their strategic cooperation regarding transparency and governance in the marketing of national palm oil commodities through an e-bidding scheme based on open tenders.

Senior Executive Vice-President (SEVP) for Operations at KPBN, Muhammad Zulham Rambe, stated in Jakarta on Thursday that through this e-bidding, the two state-owned enterprises (BUMNs) are combining strengths to deliver a more transparent, competitive marketing system oriented towards price optimisation.

“The collaboration is realised through the utilisation of KPBN’s marketplace system and tender network, which has long been recognised as a benchmark for commodity prices, particularly crude palm oil (CPO),” Zulham said.

In this mechanism, he explained, prices are entirely determined by market dynamics, based on supply and demand principles, without intervention from any party.

For Agrinas Palma Nusantara, he continued, this scheme represents a strategic step to open up broader market access while enhancing product competitiveness.

The e-bidding system allows prospective buyers to participate in the tender process transparently, thereby creating fair opportunities for all market players.

On the other hand, this mechanism also encourages the formation of optimal selling prices, which ultimately provides maximum contribution to state revenues.
