Jakarta (ANTARA) - Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman is pursuing export support services that do not exceed 1x24 hours to speed up licensing and boost the competitiveness of national businesses in the global market. ‘We will simplify, the service must not exceed 1x24 hours. If necessary, one hour, the documents will be completed for export,’ Amran said after attending the event on the release of poultry exports and their derivatives amounting to 545 tonnes worth Rp18.2 billion to Japan, Singapore and Timor Leste in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/3).

He said the acceleration is a form of the government’s commitment to businesses, farmers and breeders so that trade activities run more efficiently and respond to market needs. According to the Minister of Agriculture, the government acts as a servant of the people, so every administrative process must be simple, fast and transparent to create a healthy business climate. The policy, he added, is in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s directive to improve public services so that economic activity becomes more dynamic and provides tangible benefits for people’s welfare.

The export legality service issued by the Ministry of Agriculture through the Directorate General of Animal Husbandry and Health is the Sertifikat Veteriner (SV) — a formal document that guarantees animal health or the safety of animal products (meat, milk, eggs and their derivatives) to be traded across regions (district/city, province, or country).

Earlier, national poultry players gained more confidence to penetrate the global market after the Ministry of Agriculture released exports of 545 tonnes of poultry products and derivatives worth Rp18.2 billion to Singapore, Japan and Timor Leste gradually up to 31 March 2026. The exports were conducted by four national companies with varying volumes and values: PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk, PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, PT Taat Indah Bersinar and PT Malindo Food Delight.

That confidence stems from the Ministry of Agriculture’s acceleration of services to support exports, through the Sertifikat Veteriner which can now be issued within a single day. He emphasised that technical support and the rapid issuance of the Sertifikat Veteriner within a day allow companies to export poultry products every day, not merely in periodic shipments as previously.

Kementan support

Through PT Gizindo Sejahtera, the company ships two containers containing around 650,000 eggs or 41 tonnes to Singapore, with daily exports considered more complex than monthly ones. In the same vein, Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Director, Rachmat Indrajaya, said his company exports six tonnes of ready-to-eat chicken fillet products to Singapore valued at around Rp1 billion. ‘The Ministry of Agriculture is outstanding. Processing export permits is very fast; within a day it is completed. So, the Ministry of Agriculture is very supportive,’ he said. The company has since shipped processed products such as sausages, nuggets, and karaage to Japan, and has reached Singapore and Middle Eastern countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar. Looking ahead, the company targets expanding its markets to Asian countries, including Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, PT Taat Indah Bersinar (TIB) director Tjandra Srimulianingsih assessed that export services are currently much faster than before.
