AGP Deploys 600 Saber Teams and Distributes Vouchers at Nusantara Chinese New Year Harmony 2026
Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) deployed 600 personnel from the Artha Graha Peduli Sweep Team (Saber AGP) at the Nusantara Chinese New Year Harmony 2026 event held at Banteng Field, Jakarta, on Saturday 28 February. This support reflects the institution’s commitment to nurturing diversity through tangible social collaboration. The Saber Team’s presence was focused on maintaining cleanliness and comfort throughout the event venue all day long.
All personnel were stationed at various strategic points from the afternoon to anticipate waste accumulation. This measure was taken due to high public enthusiasm for the annual cultural celebration. AGP’s participation demonstrates its social responsibility in supporting an environmentally conscious celebration whilst providing space for communities to strengthen the spirit of tolerance amongst residents.
Hanna Lilies, Senior at Artha Graha Peduli, explained that their involvement provided direct benefits to visitors. Beyond maintaining cleanliness, AGP also distributed shopping vouchers to assist attendees. The organisation distributed vouchers worth Rp100,000 to visitors from the Gojek community and AGP-supported communities who regularly participate in AGP’s Cheap Market programme.
Lilies expressed hope that this assistance would stimulate the economic activity of small business operators at the location. The voucher distribution served as support to help communities directly experience the positive impact of the celebration. “Our hope with these vouchers is that they will shop, so indirectly they participate in boosting the economy of UMSEs participating in this Nusantara Chinese New Year bazaar, and this also becomes a concrete form of support so communities can experience direct benefits from this celebration,” she added.
Lilies also emphasised the importance of collective awareness in maintaining public facilities during the event. This initiative was expected to build positive habits in maintaining order at every major activity. “We want to ensure Nusantara Chinese New Year Harmony 2026 runs cleanly, safely, and comfortably. Cultural celebrations must proceed together with environmental care,” she explained.
According to her, true harmony is reflected in shared responsibility for maintaining the surrounding environment. This spirit must be preserved so cultural celebrations continue to provide comfort for everyone. “The spirit of harmony is not only reflected in the diversity being celebrated, but also in shared responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and order,” she emphasised.
The Artha Graha Network’s support also involved Bank Artha Graha Internasional in strengthening the digital ecosystem for business operators. The bank provided practical payment systems for visitors and merchants at the bazaar. QRIS payment service was used to expedite transactions and increase efficiency for UMSEs. Visitors could also benefit from cashback programmes provided to encourage sales volume during the bazaar.
Through this environmental and economic synergy, AGP hoped the activity’s impact would be felt inclusively. Nusantara Chinese New Year Harmony 2026 is expected to set a new standard for environmentally friendly and sustainable celebrations.
