Jakarta (ANTARA) - Artha Graha Peduli (AGP), together with all business units within the Artha Graha Group and Artha Graha Network, carried out the Artha Graha Peduli Bersih Movement — a simultaneous clean-up campaign across various operational areas.

In addition to commemorating National Clean Day (HBN) and National Waste Awareness Day (HPSN) 2026, which fell on Saturday (21 February), Artha Graha Peduli team representative from SCBD Area Management, Prasetyo, said the joint clean-up was conducted as an effort to build an environmental awareness culture within the company.

“The momentum of National Clean Day and National Waste Awareness Day is not merely a symbolic activity, but rather a tangible expression of Artha Graha Peduli’s commitment to building an environmental awareness culture across all business units. Through the Artha Graha Peduli Bersih Movement that we carried out simultaneously today, we want to ensure that every member of Artha Graha takes an active role in maintaining cleanliness and preserving the surrounding environment,” Prasetyo said, as quoted in Jakarta on Sunday.

He also noted that the clean-up, conducted ahead of the breaking of the fast and held in the SCBD area among other locations, served as a symbol that social awareness and the spirit of sharing can be realised through simple yet widely impactful steps.

“We hope this movement does not stop today, but becomes a daily habit,” he said.

The activity was carried out directly on the commemorative day and covered office areas, business unit zones, and surrounding environments in direct contact with the community. From the afternoon until approaching the time for breaking the fast, AGP employees and volunteers worked together to clean public areas, waterways, public facilities, and green open spaces near business unit locations.

Internal coordination was conducted beforehand to ensure each unit could participate optimally, and in several locations the activities were carried out collaboratively between units to broaden their beneficial impact.

The clean-up was followed by a communal breaking of the fast at SCBD Weekland, with meals purchased from SMEs fostered by Artha Graha Peduli. Waste collected in the SCBD area was subsequently managed in partnership with environmental management partner Waste for Change and a waste bank.

The movement also aligns with the spirit of the Indonesia ASRI Movement — standing for Aman (Safe), Sehat (Healthy), Resik (Clean), and Indah (Beautiful) — championed by Prabowo Subianto. The ASRI values serve as shared guidelines for creating a safe, healthy, clean and beautiful environment across all company operational areas.

Through this momentum, Artha Graha Peduli reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to contribute to maintaining a clean, healthy and comfortable environment, whilst inviting all elements of society to participate actively.

“Happy National Clean Day and National Waste Awareness Day 2026. Let us together look after our environment so that it becomes ever more ASRI,” Prasetyo said.
