AGO Searches Six Locations in Free Nutritious Meal Corruption Case, Seizes Documents and Phones
The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) is continuing its investigation into an alleged corruption case concerning the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (Badan Gizi Nasional/BGN) for the 2025-2026 period, involving three suspects: Dadan Hindayana, Sony Sonjaya, and Lodewyk Pusung.
The Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that his team had conducted searches at six locations and seized a number of pieces of evidence. “The results of the search included documents and electronic evidence, such as mobile phones and laptops,” Syarief told reporters on Thursday, 11 June 2026.
Syarief has not yet disclosed in detail the contents of the documents and data on the mobile phones seized during the searches. Currently, the investigative team is still working to shed light on the case.
For context, the Attorney General’s Office named former Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Dadan Hindayana, former Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Sonny Sanjaya, and Lodewyk Pusung as suspects in the alleged criminal corruption case involving irregularities in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal programme at the National Nutrition Agency in the years 2025-2026.
“Today, Wednesday, 3 July 2026, the investigative team at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes of the Republic of Indonesia’s Attorney General’s Office, after conducting a series of investigations, has today named three suspects in the case of alleged criminal corruption involving irregularities in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal programme at the National Nutrition Agency from 2025 to 2026,” said Plh. Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Jefri Fernando, at the Attorney General’s Office on Wednesday (3/6/2026).
On the same occasion, the Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, explained that the naming of the suspects was carried out after his party conducted a series of examinations on the three individuals and based on two pieces of sufficient evidence.
“Brother DH, as Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Brother SS, as Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency for Operational Fulfilment of Nutrition, and Brother LP, as Deputy Head of BGN for Organisational Development and Institutional Support, as suspects in the investigation of the alleged criminal corruption case of management.”
