AGO Seals Two Warehouses in MBG Case, Secures 17,600 Electric Motorcycles
The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has revealed it sealed two warehouses storing electric motorcycles ordered by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) as part of a procurement process. The office stated that 17,600 electric motorcycle units have been secured from warehouses in Sentul and Cikarang.
“Those sealed are in the Sentul and Cikarang areas. That’s it for now, Sentul and Cikarang. The big ones, the most numerous. Approximately 17,600 units. It is still ongoing today, not yet finished. There are several points,” explained the Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General’s Office for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, to reporters at the Kejagung in Jakarta on Thursday (18/6/2026).
Syarief conveyed that the tens of thousands of electric motorcycles have not been seized. He said the vehicles were only secured to monitor their movement because they had not yet been distributed to the locations of the Nutritional Service Fulfilment Units (SPPG) by BGN.
“Are all of them being seized? No. So we carried out this sealing to record the motorcycles, and to secure the motorcycles, or to secure the movement of these motorcycles later, where they will go. Because these motorcycles have not yet reached the points stated by BGN. They are still in the provider’s warehouses,” Syarief disclosed.
“Therefore, we secured the motorcycles by sealing them so that the investigative team can monitor their movement. However, maintenance of the motorcycles can still be carried out by the provider, because they have not been handed over,” he said.
It is known that the AGO sealed an electric motorcycle warehouse in the Sentul area, Babakan Madang District, Bogor Regency, West Java, related to the alleged corruption case in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. Several residents who frequently engage in activities at the location witnessed the sealing.
“It was just yesterday that the AGO came here in large numbers to seal it, there is this seal mark,” said a resident named Oweh when met by reporters at the location on Thursday (18/6).
He saw several officers arrive and enter the parking area of the warehouse where the electric trail motorcycles were placed. According to him, the officers immediately put up a seal line.
“They went straight inside. So they just sealed it, the tarpaulin net cover was still there, it wasn’t opened,” he said.
According to him, the officers arrived around 1:00 PM Western Indonesia Time yesterday afternoon. He saw quite a crowd of officers at the electric motorcycle warehouse location while there was normal activity at the warehouse.
“Every day there is also activity, as if there were no problems. Outside, the situation is just like this, they are still carrying out activities (working),” he revealed.
Another resident named Edi said something similar. Based on the information he received, a number of motorcycles were sealed before operating.
“According to the employees working here, they were sealed so they wouldn’t get damaged because they’ve been here a long time, so they were sealed first before being operated, in case the motorcycle’s electrical system is weak,” he explained.
For information, the AGO has named six people as suspects in the alleged corruption case concerning the governance of the MBG programme. They are:
