AGO Reveals Central Role of Glory Harimas in Free Nutritious Meal Corruption Case
The Attorney General’s Office has named a private sector individual, Glory Harimas Sihombing, as a suspect in the alleged corruption case involving the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. The Chairman of the Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation is suspected of seeking partners, selling locations for the Nutritional Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG), and providing money to the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana.
The Director of Investigations for the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, explained that Glory Harimas Sihombing was asked by Dadan to find partners for the implementation of the MBG programme. “Saudara DH unlawfully provided access to Saudara GHS to obtain SPPG kitchen locations for the foundation owned by Saudara GHS,” Syarief stated on Thursday (18/6/2026).
After the foundation owned by GHS, the Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation, obtained the SPPG kitchen locations, the facilities were subsequently sold to other parties. “The foundation sold the SPPG kitchen locations to parties wishing to establish kitchens in those areas,” he said. GHS was also given access to communicate with the verification team appointed by Dadan, a condition deemed advantageous for the foundation he managed, allowing him to process rollbacks on the status of SPPGs under the foundation’s purview.
Once the management of the SPPG locations was underway, GHS allegedly provided sums of money to Dadan Hindayana. The funds reportedly came from MBG partners managed by GHS. “Saudara GHS unlawfully provided sums of money, both in foreign currency and rupiah, to Saudara DH in cash, sourced from MBG partners who sought assistance from Saudara GHS to become MBG partners,” Syarief said.
Previously, the Attorney General’s Office had named five other suspects in the MBG governance corruption case. They are former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana, former BGN Deputy Head Sony Sonjaya, former BGN Deputy Head Lodewyk Pusung, Asep Yusuf Somantri, a close associate of Sony, and Andri Mulyono, a commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal, the electric motorcycle supplier for BGN.
