The Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), Febrie Adriansyah, has disclosed the performance of state loss recovery achieved through special criminal channels during the 2020-2026 period. “The amount determined based on final and binding court rulings is Rp131,527,786,065,164,” Febrie stated at a press conference at the Government Communication Agency office in Jakarta on Wednesday (24/6/2026). Febrie explained that the recovery of state financial losses was carried out through coercive measures by investigators, which were then handed over to the Asset Recovery Agency. The annual breakdown of rulings is as follows: 2020: Rp8.3 trillion; 2021: Rp22.6 trillion; 2022: Rp6.3 trillion; 2023: Rp24.4 trillion; 2024: Rp4.6 trillion; 2025: Rp24.5 trillion; 2026: Rp40.5 trillion. He further noted that the AGO not only handles strategic cases with large state financial losses but also those impacting the national economy, natural resource and environmental governance, and public interest. Examples of cases handled include: tin trading governance at PT Timah (2015-2022) with state losses of up to Rp300 trillion; crude oil and refinery product management at PT Pertamina (2018-2023) with state financial and economic losses of Rp285 trillion; the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya case (2008-2018) with losses of Rp16.8 trillion; financial and investment fund management at PT Asabri (2012-2019) with state financial losses of Rp22.788 trillion; export facility provision for crude palm oil and its derivatives with state financial losses of Rp6.047 trillion and estimated national economic losses of Rp12.312 trillion; oil palm plantation business activities of PT Duta Palma Group in Indragiri Hulu Regency with state losses of Rp4.798 trillion and USD 7.85 million, plus national economic losses of Rp73.92 trillion; aircraft procurement at PT Garuda Indonesia with state losses of USD 609.81 million, equivalent to Rp8.819 trillion; procurement of 4G BTS by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (2020-2022) with state financial losses of Rp8.032 trillion; corruption in the import of iron or alloy steel and derivative products with state financial losses of Rp1.06 trillion and national economic losses of Rp18.89 trillion; corruption in textile imports at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (2018-2020) with state financial losses of Rp183 billion and national economic losses of Rp1.646 trillion; the Ministry of Education and Culture’s digitalisation programme (2019-2022) with state financial losses of Rp1.98 trillion; and the management of the free nutritious meal programme at the National Nutrition Agency in 2025-2026, involving six suspects including former agency leaders and private parties.
