AGO Names Private Party as Sixth Suspect in Free Nutritious Meal Programme Corruption Case
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named a private party with the initials GHS as the sixth suspect in the alleged corruption case involving the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025–2026 period. “After conducting an examination and based on two pieces of evidence, the investigative team has named Mr GHS (Glory Harimas Sihombing), a private party, as a suspect in the case,” said Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi at the Jampidsus building in Jakarta on Thursday. He explained that GHS is suspected of colluding with former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana to arrange the sale of Nutritional Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) points. “After arranging these SPPG points, Mr GHS unlawfully provided a sum of money, in both foreign currency and rupiah, to Mr DH in cash, sourced from BGN partners,” he stated. Investigators have also detained GHS for the next 20 days at the Salemba Detention Centre branch of the Attorney General’s Office. Previously, Jampidsus had named five suspects in this case: former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana; former Deputy Head of BGN for Organisational Development and Institutional Relations Lodewyk Pusung; former Deputy Head of BGN for Nutritional Fulfilment Operations Sony Sonjaya; Asep Yusuf Soemantri, a private party; and PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal Commissioner Andri Mulyono.
