AGO Names Private Party as Sixth Suspect in Free Nutritious Meal Programme Corruption Case

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named a private individual, identified by the initials GHS, as the sixth suspect in the alleged corruption case regarding the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme within the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025–2026 period.

“After conducting examinations and based on two pieces of evidence, the investigative team has named Mr GHS (Glory Harimas Sihombing), representing the private sector, as a suspect in the case,” stated the Director of Investigation of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, at the Jampidsus Building in Jakarta on Thursday.

He explained that GHS is suspected of working alongside the former Head of the BGN, Dadan Hindayana, to manipulate the sale of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) points.

“Following the manipulation of these SPPG points, Mr GHS unlawfully provided various amounts of both foreign currency and Rupiah to Mr DH in cash, sourced from BGN partners,” he added.

Investigators have also detained GHS for the next 20 days at the Salemba Detention Centre, under the jurisdiction of the Attorney General’s Office.

Previously, the Jampidsus of the Attorney General’s Office had named five suspects in this case, namely the former Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana; the former Deputy Head of BGN for Organisational Development and Institutional Relations Lodewyk Pusung; the former Deputy Head of BGN for Nutrition Fulfilment Operations Sony Sonjaya; Asep Yusuf Soemantri, a private individual; and the Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal, Andri Mulyono.
