AGO Issues Three Investigation Warrants, Confirms Febrie Adriansyah Remains a Suspect

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has issued three investigation warrants (Sprindik) in the handling of three alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) cases involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah. Head of the AGO Legal Information Centre (Kapuspenkum), Anang Supriatna, stated that the issuance of the three warrants follows the transfer of case handling from the National Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipikor) to the Attorney General’s Office. “The issued Sprindik confirms that FA’s status remains a suspect. This status is based on the suspect determination previously made by Kortas Tipikor Polri investigators,” Anang said in an official statement on Thursday (15/7). He explained that the three warrants govern investigations into three separate cases now under the AGO’s authority. “First, Sprindik Number 43 relates to alleged corruption and money laundering in the PT Krakatau case. Second, Sprindik Number 44 concerns alleged corruption in a PLN power plant case that caused a blackout. Third, Sprindik Number 45 relates to the ASABRI case as per the report we received from Police investigators,” he stated. Anang also emphasised that since the warrants were issued, all pro-justicia investigative actions are fully under the authority of AGO investigators. He assured that the investigation process would remain coordinated with Kortas Tipikor Polri and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), particularly regarding supervision. To expedite the case handling, the AGO has formed a special team consisting of nine investigators, most of whom previously served at the KPK.
