The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has formed a special investigation team to handle the case of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah. The special team consists of nine senior prosecutors, the majority of whom are alumni of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

“In the new investigation warrant we have issued, we formed a special team. This is a special investigation warrant,” said Kapuspenkum Anang Supriatna to reporters at the AGO Building in South Jakarta on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

Anang revealed that the team’s composition was deliberately selected from prosecutors with experience in handling corruption cases, including those who had previously served at the KPK. “Most of these investigators are former KPK alumni. Prosecutors who have served at the KPK,” he explained. “There are approximately nine people, including Mr. Riyono, Ms. Chatarina Girsang, and Mr. Zet Tadung Allo.”

Anang further explained that the AGO has now issued three investigation warrants related to the development of the case against Febrie. These three warrants cover various clusters of alleged corruption and money laundering. “First, warrant number 43 regarding alleged corruption and money laundering for PT Krakatau. Second, warrant number 44 regarding alleged corruption for the PLN blackout power plant. Third, warrant number 45 related to ASABRI, following a report we received from police investigators,” Anang detailed.

With the issuance of these warrants, Anang stated that all investigative actions have now fully transitioned to the AGO. However, he assured that his office will continue to synergise with the National Police and the KPK. “In its implementation, we will continue to synergise and collaborate with police investigators, and we will also collaborate with the KPK to supervise the investigation process. This includes our partners from Commission III of the House of Representatives who will also participate in oversight,” he said.

When asked about the status of Febrie Adriansyah and Don Ritto, who had previously been named suspects by the police, Anang stated that their status has not been revoked, but the AGO will re-examine the case files within the framework of the new investigation warrants. “Their suspect status is not void. The important thing is that we receive and study everything first, including the police investigation warrants and their reports. Currently, they are referred to as individuals in one of the cases,” he concluded.

The nine prosecutors on the special team are: 1. Agus Salim, 2. Muhibuddin, 3. Chatarina Girsang, 4. Riyono, 5. Agus Sahat, 6. Irene Putrie, 7. Renaldi, 8. Zet Tadung Allo, and 9. Hari Wibowo.
