AGO: Febrie Adriansyah Named Suspect, But Not Yet Detained
The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has confirmed that the case involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah has progressed to the suspect stage in an alleged corruption and money laundering investigation. Head of the AGO’s Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stated that the National Police’s investigative team had handed over a number of pieces of evidence to AGO investigators between Tuesday and Wednesday. Anang also addressed public concern regarding the fact that Febrie has not yet been detained despite his suspect status. The AGO is confident that the former Jampidsus will not tamper with or destroy evidence related to the corruption and money laundering case he is implicated in.
