AGO examines 'ompreng' supplier in free nutritious meal corruption case

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General’s Office examined an ompreng supplier as a witness in the investigation into alleged corruption in the governance of the Free Nutritious Meals programme at the National Nutrition Agency for 2025–2026.

“MA, as the ompreng supplier,” said Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre Anang Supriatna in his statement in Jakarta on Monday.

In addition, investigators also examined several witnesses from partners of the Nutrition Service Fulfilment Units, namely RSA from the East Lampung Regency SPPG Partner, S from the Ciputat SPPG Partner, U from the Lebak Regency SPPG Partner, and HD from the Cibadak SPPG Partner.

Furthermore, Anang said investigators also examined a private sector employee with the initials SDS.

Thus, the number of witnesses examined by the Attorney General’s Office on Monday totalled six people.

Anang said the examination of these witnesses was conducted to strengthen the evidence and complete the case file.

He also emphasised that the investigation process is carried out professionally, independently, and accountably while upholding the presumption of innocence and the principle of prudence.

The Attorney General’s Office has named seven suspects in the MBG governance corruption case, namely former Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana; former Deputy Head of BGN for Organisational Development and Institutional Relations Lodewyk Pusung; former Deputy Head of BGN for Operational Nutrition Fulfilment Sony Sonjaya; Asep Yusuf Soemantri as a private party; Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal Andri Mulyono; Glory Harimas Sihombing as a private party; and LMI as Secretary of the Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation of BGN.
