AGO Examines 16 Witnesses, Including BGN Experts and Partner Directors, in MBG Corruption Case
The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) is continuing its investigation into the alleged criminal act of corruption in the governance of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for 2025 to 2026.
Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, explained that the team of investigating prosecutors at the Directorate of Investigation of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) summoned 16 witnesses on Monday, 10 August 2026.
“The investigation team summoned 16 witnesses in connection with the case of alleged corruption in the governance of the MBG programme at BGN,” said Anang to reporters.
The witnesses examined included MNH and IDMAKN as technical experts at BGN, MK as an SPPG partner in Pejaten Barat, and GW as finance staff at PT NGS.
“Also examined were the directors of PT MDT, PT AJS, PT WMB, PT ACG, PT BCS, PT BMA, PT EC, PT SSA, PT MHT, PT MTS, the PRL Foundation, and the chairpersons of the HJC and HJM foundations,” he explained.
Anang stated that the examination was conducted to strengthen the evidence and complete the case file in the matter.
“The investigation process will continue to be carried out professionally, independently, and accountably while upholding the presumption of innocence and the precautionary principle,” he said.
Previously, the Attorney General’s Office named former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, and former Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Sonny Sanjaya, as well as Lodewyk Pusung, as suspects in the alleged corruption case involving irregularities in the governance of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) in 2025–2026.
“On this day, Wednesday, 3 July 2026, the investigation team at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, after conducting a series of investigations, has today named three suspects in the case of alleged corruption involving irregularities in the governance of the Free Nutritious Meals or MBG programme at the National Nutrition Agency or BGN in 2025 to 2026,” said Acting Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Jefri Fernando, at the Attorney General’s Office, Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
For their actions, the suspects are charged with violating Articles 603 and 604 in conjunction with Article 20 of Law Number 31 of 1999, and Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
