AGO Examines 12 Witnesses in Alleged Corruption of Free Nutritious Meal Programme

Investigators from the Directorate of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) have examined 12 witnesses in connection with an alleged corruption case in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the 2025–2026 period.

Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stated that the witnesses summoned included internal officials and staff from BGN, as well as representatives from private sector partners and foundations. Among those questioned were a BGN official responsible for tablet procurement, a secretary to the BGN head, and representatives from private companies and foundations.

Anang explained that the series of examinations aims to complete the body of evidence, clarify the legal construction of the case, and trace potential assets resulting from the alleged corruption. He assured that the investigation is being conducted professionally, independently, and accountably, while upholding the principle of presumption of innocence.

The AGO has previously named seven suspects in the case, including former BGN head Dadan Hindayana, former deputy heads Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sonjaya, private sector figures Asep Yusuf Soemantri and Glory Harimas Sihombing, Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal Andri Mulyono, and a secretary from a BGN deputy division.
