AGO Continues Searches Across Multiple Sites in MBG Corruption Case

The investigation team from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) continued to conduct search operations at several locations across Jakarta on Thursday (4/6/2026). This effort aims to collect documents and electronic evidence related to the alleged corruption in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme, which implicates the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, along with two former deputies, Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sonjaya.

The Director of Investigation (Dirdik) of Jampidsus Kejagung, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that his team is still scouring several locations.

“The process of collecting evidence through forced searches in several places is still ongoing. It continues as of now,” Syarief said in Jakarta on Thursday (4/6/2026).

Syarief was still reluctant to disclose specific details regarding the addresses or the types of locations being targeted, such as whether they are private vendor offices or the private residences of the suspects. However, Syarief confirmed that today’s search focus has shifted to new locations, distinct from the six sites previously raided by investigators at the beginning of the week.

“It has shifted, and we are still moving. We will provide details later as the process is still underway. What is clear is that all searches conducted today are within the Jakarta area,” he said.

According to Syarability, the intensity of the investigators’ movements has been intentionally increased over the last two to three days. The Attorney General’s Office is implementing a strategy of continuous, sequential raids to trace the flow of funds for the procurement of supporting goods, which are suspected of being subject to price mark-ups.

“Our system over the last two to three days has been intensive, conducting marathon searches and evidence collection across several locations,” Syarief added.

The Attorney General’s Office is also investigating allegations regarding the sale of recommendations for the establishment of Food Service Implementation Units (SPPG) within the MBG corruption case involving Dadan Hindayana and others. Investigators are also looking into allegations that the suspects misappropriated SPPG incentives of Rp6 million per day for personal gain.
