Agent's wife murder reenacted

JAKARTA: City Police held on Wednesday the reconstruction of the murder of Barkah Hanim, the wife of a director of the National Intelligence Agency, and her driver, who were stabbed to death earlier this month.

The reconstruction started at the house of the suspect, where the murder allegedly took place, in Billy Moon housing complex in Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta.

The police took the four suspects to the crime scene at about 10:50 a.m.

Bono and Leo Hasibuan, the main suspects, arrived in separate jail vans with their feet cuffed, while Alfrida, the alleged mastermind of the murder, and Adnan followed.

The two children of Barkah Hanim also attended the reconstruction.

Evidence in the case, including Barkah's pickup truck and the motorcycle, were used in the reconstruction of the murder which sparked curiosity among the neighbors. -- JP
