Age limits for moviegoers

I went to the 21 theater in Puri Indah Mall with my husband to
see The Aviator, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, recently. It was a
fairly good film, but I was troubled by the presence of underaged
teens in the theater.

The youngsters also enjoying the show were well under 17 while
the film belongs in the adult category. Theater operators should
apply age limits as determined by the Film Censor Board.

Also, I would like to appeal to theaters to avoid drawing
large audiences only for profit, while not being mindful of the
possible adverse effects of underaged children watching a
particular film.
