Lubuk Basung (ANTARA) – The Agam Regency Government in West Sumatra issued 15,388 business permits through the cloud-based SiCantik licensing service and the Online Single Submission (OSS) system between January and 30 September 2026.

Agam Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) head Agusnadi said in Lubuk Basung on Saturday that the permits were processed through SiCantik and OSS. The article states that 867 permits were issued through SiCantik and 14,521 through OSS, although those figures add up to 15,388; a subsequent quotation refers to a total of 15,448.

He said the 867 SiCantik permits covered 41 fields, while the 14,521 OSS permits covered 13 fields. The most commonly issued documents were 6,162 Business Identification Numbers (NIBs) and 1,611 standard certificates during the nine-month period.

“Applications are busy every day. Business permits are processed once all the requirements are complete, and applicants are not charged,” he said.

Applications are submitted online through the available platforms, allowing business operators to apply from wherever they are, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 5 of 2021 on risk-based business licensing.

He said the online system had led to a significant increase in permit applications compared with previous years. The agency also provides guidance and training on how to apply for permits.

It has also trained village officials to process NIB applications through OSS.

“This is intended to allow people to go directly to village officials to apply for an NIB. If further assistance is needed, we will help,” he said.
