Commuter line train KA 806A bound for Soekarno-Hatta Airport collided with a large truck at a level crossing between Poris and Batu Ceper stations.

In video footage seen on Friday (20 February 2026), the front section of the train was visibly crumpled, with the carriage tilting to one side and some of its wheels displaced from the rails. The truck involved was an orange container lorry carrying a large load.

Traffic around the scene was heavily congested, as the train carriages continued to block the Poris station level crossing. Motorists’ horns could be heard sounding continuously, with some drivers attempting to turn around despite being unable to move.

“There has been an operational disruption on KA 806A Commuterline Airport service between Poris and Batu Ceper stations as a result of a collision with a truck, which is currently being handled by officers,” read a statement from KAI Commuter posted on its X account on Friday (20 February 2026). The statement was uploaded one hour prior.

KAI Commuter stated that train services had been disrupted as a result of the incident. The Commuterline service on the Duri–Tangerang route was temporarily operating only as far as Rawa Buaya station.

Additionally, all Commuterline departures from Tangerang station were temporarily cancelled. Soekarno-Hatta Airport train services were also suspended until further notice.
