Aftermath of Caddy Assault in Tangerang: Modern Golf Blacklists Perpetrator Across All Courses

The management of Modern Golf & Country Club has officially revoked the playing rights of a man who allegedly assaulted a caddy at its Tangerang facility, blacklisting him and declaring him persona non grata. The decision, formalised in a letter dated 24 June 2026, permanently bars the individual, identified as FP, from accessing all club facilities. The management has also specifically requested that all golf courses across Indonesia similarly revoke his playing rights, urging the entire industry to take serious note of the incident. The assault occurred on 23 June 2026, and the 38-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested by police at his residence in Kemiling, Bandar Lampung, on 26 June 2026. Police have officially named him a suspect following a case review.
