After visiting religious leaders, Kaesang continued his Ramadan tour in Banten by interacting with students at the Fathul Ma’ani Islamic Boarding School.

If previously he had engaged in a friendly visit with charismatic religious leaders, this time Kaesang chose to casually interact with the students at the Fathul Ma’ani Islamic Boarding School in Pandeglang Regency, Banten.

The arrival of Kaesang was enthusiastically welcomed by the students. The atmosphere, which was initially formal, became more relaxed when the youngest son of the 7th President of Indonesia suddenly invited the students to play a Ramadan-themed quiz.

“I just want to play a guessing game, there will be prizes. Do you want to?” said Kaesang to the students of Fathul Ma’ani, Thursday, February 26, 2026.

In unison, the students answered with great enthusiasm, ‘yes’. Laughter and cheers immediately broke out in the courtyard of the Islamic boarding school. One of the students was then asked to come forward to recite Surat Al Ikhlas as part of the quiz.

This interaction made the atmosphere of the visit warm and friendly. During the visit, Kaesang was accompanied by the Daily Chairman of the PSI DPP, Ahmad Ali, and a number of other PSI DPP officials.

The presence of the party’s elite was part of a series of Ramadan tours held simultaneously by PSI structures in various regions. Not only at the central level, but also the PSI DPW (Regional Executive Board) and DPD (Regional Branch) also conducted visits to Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia.

This agenda is considered a momentum to strengthen ties with religious teachers, kyai (Islamic scholars), and ulama (religious leaders) who have been deemed to play a major role in maintaining the nation’s moral values.

On several occasions, Ahmad Ali reiterated that politics is not just about strategy or the pursuit of power, but also involves mental strength and clarity of heart in making decisions.

The PSI’s Ramadan tour this year is not just a ceremonial agenda, but also an effort to build emotional closeness with the Islamic boarding school community, while also strengthening the message that politics and moral values must go hand in hand.

Previously, it was reported that Kaesang began his Ramadan tour by visiting one of Banten’s charismatic religious leaders, Abuya Ahmad Muhtadi Dimyathi, on Thursday afternoon, February 26, 2026.

The visit took place at the Roudlotul Ulum Cidahu Islamic Boarding School, Cadasari District, Pandeglang Regency. Kaesang was welcomed directly by Abuya Muhtadi and the students who had been waiting for his arrival.
