After Visiting Bareskrim Polri, JK's Legal Representative Has Not Yet Received Rismon Sianipar's Police Report Number

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Jusuf Kalla’s (JK) lawyer, Abdul Haji Talauho, admitted that he has not yet received the Police Report (LP) number after nearly four hours visiting Bareskrim Polri on Monday (6/4/2026). In this instance, Abdul visited Bareskrim Polri as JK’s legal representative to report digital forensic researcher Rismon Sianipar for alleged defamation and slander. The report concerns accusations that JK funded Roy Suryo and his associates with Rp 5 billion to pursue the issue of the diploma of Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo. “Today we have reported accordingly. As for the LP, it might be with this later,” said Abdul, when met at Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, on Monday. One journalist explained that for every LP made at the police, the reporter usually receives proof of the report along with the LP number. “Did you receive that?” asked the journalist. “So, importantly today, according to our plan, we have reported Rismon, met with the investigator, submitted this, handed it over. The administration is just technical and will follow,” he replied. When asked again whether Abdul received the report proof or not, he answered that he had not. “Not yet, not yet. Okay, thank you,” said Abdul. Previously, Indonesia’s 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) intended to report digital forensic researcher Rismon Sianipar in connection with the alleged defamation and slander case. On that occasion, he explained that there are several other parties that JK wants to report. “So besides the defamation article and slander charges, there is also hoax or false news spread by several account channels and YouTubers,” said Abdul, at Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta. Abdul conveyed that Rismon claimed JK as an elite who funded former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo and associates with Rp 5 billion to pursue allegations of a fake diploma for Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo.
