After Touring Lampung, Jokowi Flies to Jakarta Today

Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), is departing for Jakarta today. Jokowi did not disclose his scheduled activities in Jakarta.

Jokowi continued to attend to citizens who arrived to take photographs with him until 11:40 WIB. He mentioned that after finishing the photo sessions, he would depart for Jakarta.

“Heading to Jakarta this afternoon,” Jokowi said when met in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Central Java, on Tuesday (30/6).

Jokowi admitted he would only be in Jakarta for one day, though he did not reveal his itinerary.

“One day, just one day (in Jakarta), thank you,” he said.

Subsequently, at 12:15 WIB, Jokowi was seen leaving his residence.

Jokowi had just completed a political safari with the PSI party in Lampung over the course of three days. Following his time in Lampung, Jokowi returned directly to Solo on Monday (29/6).

Jokowi appeared cheerful when greeted by journalists using the nickname ‘Pak Baginda’.

“Pak Baginda, are you tired?” asked members of the media on Monday (29/6).

Jokowi smiled broadly, stating that he was not tired after three days of touring Lampung.

“Not tired,” he replied.

When asked about his plans for today, Jokowi mentioned he would be taking his grandchildren, who are currently on holiday in Solo, out.

“Taking the grandchildren out,” he said.
