After Touring Lampung, Jokowi Flies to Jakarta Today

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) departed for Jakarta today. Jokowi did not disclose his agenda in the capital. He was still serving residents who came to take photos together until 11:40 WIB. He stated that after the photo session, he would leave for Jakarta. “This afternoon to Jakarta,” Jokowi said when met in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Central Java, on Tuesday (30/6). Jokowi claimed he would only be in Jakarta for a day. However, he did not reveal his agenda there. “Just a day, just a day (in Jakarta), thank you,” he said. Afterwards, at 12:15 WIB, Jokowi was seen leaving his residence. Jokowi had just completed a political safari with the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in Lampung for three days. After being in Lampung, Jokowi immediately returned to Solo on Monday (29/6). Jokowi appeared cheerful when greeted by journalists with the title ‘Pak Baginda’. “Pak Baginda, are you tired?” a journalist asked on Monday (29/6). Jokowi smiled broadly. He admitted he was not tired after three days touring Lampung. “No,” he replied. When asked about his agenda for the day, Jokowi said he would take his grandchildren who are on holiday in Solo. “Taking the grandchildren,” he said.
