After Successfully Hitting Rice Target, Bappenas Focuses on Boosting Corn Reserves

The Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN)/Bappenas has expressed appreciation for the significant surge in the realisation of government rice reserves, which have successfully exceeded the national target. This was conveyed by the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas, Teni Widuriyanti, during a meeting with the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) on Thursday (9/7). With this impressive rice achievement, the government is optimistic it can optimise efforts to improve the welfare and income of local farmers.
