After six months, Indonesia's first baby panda makes public debut
Taman Safari Indonesia officially introduced Satrio Wiratama, or Rio, the first giant panda cub born in Indonesia, to the public during an inauguration ceremony at the Panda Palace in Cisarua, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Tuesday (9/6). Rio’s lively playfulness and increasingly affectionate behaviour towards his mother, Hu Chun, were met with laughter from Taman Safari visitors, including representatives from the Ministry of Forestry, the Bogor Regency administration, and animal conservation advocates.
