After Sharp Surge, Red Bird's Eye Chilli Prices in Cilegon Drop Significantly

After experiencing a sharp surge to a price of Rp100,000 per kilogram from H-7 to H+1 of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, the price of red bird’s eye chillies at Pasar Blok F in Cilegon City fell significantly to Rp60,000 per kilogram on Thursday (26/3). The acting head of the Pasar Blok F market unit, Komaruzzaman, stated that in addition to red bird’s eye chillies, the price of red curly chillies, which often trigger inflation, also experienced a decline from the previous Rp60,000 per kilogram to Rp30,000 per kilogram.
