After Previous Absence, Febrie Adriansyah Finally Complies with AGO Summons

Former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah finally appeared at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Friday, 24 July 2026. His attendance was to comply with an investigator’s summons after he failed to appear for a previously scheduled examination several days earlier. Febrie is being examined as a witness in an investigation into alleged money laundering (TPPU) currently being developed by the Attorney General’s Office.

The Head of the Attorney General’s Office Centre for Legal Information (Kapuspenkum), Anang Supriatna, confirmed the former Jampidsus’ attendance and stated that he had undergone the examination. “He has attended the examination,” Anang said when confirmed on Friday, 24 July 2026. Anang noted that the examination took place at the Attorney General’s Office building and began around 1:00 PM local time.

The Attorney General’s Office for Junior Attorney General for Oversight (Jamwas), Rudi Margono, explained the legal basis for the summons. He stated that the examination was conducted under a new investigation warrant (sprindik) related to a money laundering case, which is a development from a previous case. “Previously, on Wednesday, the former Jampidsus FA was supposed to be examined as a witness. At this point, please do not be biased in reporting that he is being examined as a witness, because there is a new sprindik for the investigation’s needs,” said Rudi Margono at the Attorney General’s Office.
