After Only 3 Months, PT Pos CEO Daud Joseph Resigns
Daud Joseph has resigned from his position as President Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). The resignation request was accepted by the state-owned logistics company on 2 July 2026.
“The reason for the resignation is purely based on the individual’s own wishes and personal considerations,” said Corporate Secretary Iwan Gunawan in a written statement on Thursday (2/6/2026).
Iwan continued that PT Pos respects the decision and expresses its highest appreciation and recognition for the dedication, service, and contributions provided during his leadership of the company.
Furthermore, PT Pos ensured that the leadership transition process will be carried out in accordance with applicable corporate governance. During this process, PT Pos maintains that the company’s operational activities will continue to run and will not disrupt the service process for all stakeholders.
“As part of Danantara, the Company remains committed to fulfilling the mandate of the Shareholders by providing the best service to the community, strengthening company performance, and executing ongoing strategic work programmes,” wrote Iwan.
PT Pos emphasised that current operational conditions remain smooth and stable. The implementation of all transformation programmes and the Company’s strategic agendas continues according to plan.
For information, prior to being appointed as President Director of PT Pos, Joseph served as the Director of Operations and Safety at PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta).
In March 2026, he resigned from that position after being entrusted to lead PT Pos. He was appointed as the President Director of PT Pos based on the Shareholders’ Decision Number 168 of 2026/SK.065/DI-DAM/DO/2026, dated 11 March 2026.
