Bogor Regency (ANTARA) — Governance reform has been one of the key priorities for Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto during his first year in office, culminating in the Bogor Regency Government once again securing an Unqualified Audit Opinion (WTP).

Bogor Regency Secretary Ajat Rochmat Jatnika said the achievement was the result of strengthened accountability and transparency in regional financial management throughout 2025.

“The WTP opinion was regained as a result of strengthening the internal control system and the commitment of all regional apparatus to consistently upholding the principles of financial accountability,” Ajat said in Cibinong on Wednesday.

Beyond improvements in financial management, he explained that governance reform was also reflected in improved scores on the Monitoring Centre for Prevention as well as the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) Integrity Assessment Survey, indicating a stronger culture of clean and professional bureaucracy.

According to Ajat, governance reform was further reinforced through improvements in the quality of civil service human resources.

Throughout 2025, the Bogor Regency Government appointed 3,324 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) in the first phase, 247 PPPK in the second phase, and 9,687 part-time PPPK to strengthen public services across various strategic sectors.

“The addition of personnel is to ensure that public services run more effectively, professionally, and responsively to the needs of the community,” he said.

Transformation was also carried out through the acceleration of government digitalisation, with the strengthening of the intra-government network now reaching all sub-districts, including the most remote areas such as Cariu and Jasinga.

Ajat emphasised that governance reform during the first year of the Rudy Susmanto–Ade Ruhandi leadership has laid an important foundation for the implementation of other development programmes.

“Good governance is the basis for all development policies to be implemented accountably and on target,” he said.
