After Meeting Prabowo, Surya Paloh Affirms Indonesia Remains in the Board of Peace (BoP)

Jakarta – NasDem Party chairman Surya Paloh said Indonesia remains in the Board of Peace (BoP) or Dewan Perdamaian, which was advocated by United States President Donald Trump. In fact, the United States, as the initiator of BoP, has conducted attacks against Iran. This was reported by Kompas TV journalist Benedictus Adithia on Wednesday, 4 March 2026. Nevertheless, Paloh said President Prabowo does not rule out the possibility of re-evaluating Indonesia’s membership in BoP or Dewan Perdamaian. ‘Re-evaluating the meaning of Indonesia’s presence in BoP with several other countries,’ Paloh said.
