After Meeting Jokowi and SBY, President Prabowo Continues Halalbihalal with Ministers and Officials
President Prabowo Subianto held a halalbihalal with Indonesia’s 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his family, as well as the 7th President Joko Widodo and his family. The event at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Saturday (21/3/2026) was then continued by receiving state officials. Members of the Merah Putih Cabinet, leaders of high state institutions, and other officials participated in the halalbihalal with President Prabowo Subianto during the open house (griya), which also involved friendly interactions with the public since the afternoon. From that group, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto with his wife, Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana with her husband, entrepreneur Wisnu Wardhana, and Deputy Minister of Population and Family Development Isyana Bagoes Oka with her family were present. Additionally, MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani, DPD Chairman Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM Head Rosan Perkasa Roeslani with his wife, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait, CIO Danantara Pandu Sjahrir, and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, who wore a complete Malay kurung outfit with songket fabric, were in attendance. During the halalbihalal event, Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency Dony Oskaria, Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Arif Satria, and Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa with his wife and children also joined. Behind Purbaya, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, and Deputy Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Didit Herdiawan Ashaf were visible. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi stated that the number of people attending the halalbihalal with the President reached 4,000 to 5,000. The open house at the Presidential Palace during Eid al-Fitr is a routine annual agenda during President Prabowo’s administration. “We provide opportunities for the public who wish to attend voluntarily; they are welcome. As long as it is still possible, we allow them to enter the Merdeka Palace grounds,” Prasetyo said. Residents entered the Palace through the back gate and walked to the central courtyard area of the Presidential Palace. Various typical Lebaran foods, such as ketupat, opor, empal gentong, and bakso, were provided for the attendees. The halalbihalal and open house at the Palace concluded around 6:00 PM WIB.
