After Lampung, Jokowi to Continue Political Safari to East Nusa Tenggara and West Java
After visiting Lampung, Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will conduct a political safari to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) revealed the reason NTT was chosen as the second location for Jokowi’s political safari. “Mr Jokowi loves NTT; since his time in office, many of his works have been in NTT,” said PSI DPP Chairman Bestari Barus via short message on Thursday (2/7/2026). However, the exact date of Jokowi’s departure to NTT is not yet known. Bestari confirmed that the second destination of Jokowi’s political safari is NTT. “NTT and (next) West Java (Jawa Barat),” said Bestari. Bestari revealed that Jokowi will fulfil an invitation from the people of NTT. In addition, Jokowi will greet PSI officials in NTT. “(Jokowi will meet) the community, of course, primarily the PSI structure, local volunteers, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and community figures,” Bestari stated. It is known that Jokowi began touring Indonesia a few days ago. Jokowi’s first destination was a visit to Lampung Province.
