After Jordan, Prabowo Continues to the UAE
President Prabowo Subianto continued his series of official visits to the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, 25th February 2026. Prabowo departed for Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, after completing his visit in Amman, Jordan.
According to the Presidential Secretariat, Garuda Indonesia-1, carrying President Prabowo and his entourage, landed at the Presidential Flight Airport, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday at around 18:00 local time. Prabowo’s arrival was greeted by a guard of honour standing on the side of the runway.
At the bottom of the aircraft stairs, President Prabowo was welcomed by the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Al Mazrouei, the Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE, Judha Nugraha, the UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, Abdulla Salem Obaid Salem Al-Daheri, and the Defence Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Brigadier General Tony Aris Setiawan.
From the Presidential Flight Airport, President Prabowo and his entourage immediately headed to the hotel where they will stay during their stay in Abu Dhabi. During this working visit, President Prabowo is scheduled to meet with the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Before the UAE, Prabowo had previously visited several countries in the last ten days. This series of working visits began when Prabowo departed for the United States from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta on Monday, 16th February 2026.
In Washington, Prabowo attended the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace. In addition, the General Chairman of the Gerindra Party also signed a trade agreement in a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump.
From the United States, Prabowo continued his journey to London, England. Prabowo witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) and the British semiconductor company, Arm Limited, in the capital of the United Kingdom.
Prabowo then met with the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, after visiting England. Prabowo, who has been friends with Abdullah II for a long time, met the Sultan in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
In the meeting with Abdullah II, Prabowo encouraged the achievement of peace in Palestine. According to Prabowo, the two-state solution with an independent Palestine is the only way to achieve lasting peace.
