After Demutualisation, IDX Sets Aside Rp596 Billion for Strategic Plans
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has officially completed its demutualisation. The capital market regulator is now drawing up its 2027 Work Plan and Budget (RKAT) as a concrete step towards strengthening the exchange’s foundations and building the capacity needed to meet its strategic targets for 2030.
IDX President Director Jeffrey Hendrik said the plan contains 51 work programmes with a total budget of Rp596.4 billion. It follows the strategic direction set out in the 2026–2030 Masterplan.
“We have drawn up 51 work programmes with a total budget of Rp596.4 billion, allocated across two main groups,” he said at a virtual press conference following an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on Wednesday (28 October 2026).
Jeffrey said the first group, the business pillar, has been allocated Rp186.8 billion, or 31.3 per cent of the total. This funding covers the strengthening of transaction and non-transaction businesses, improvements in the number and quality of listed companies, and broader investor participation.
The second group comprises enablers, with Rp409.7 billion, or 68.7 per cent of the total, focused on strengthening infrastructure and supporting capabilities. The largest share of this allocation, Rp380.7 billion, is earmarked for strengthening and optimising information technology assets.
He said the funding is intended to support system reliability, service capacity and readiness for future market development.
Jeffrey stressed that the allocations would ensure the 2027 programmes support not only operational needs and annual performance targets, but also the IDX’s readiness to carry out the next stages of its transformation.
“Through these work-plan allocations, we want to ensure that the 2027 programmes support not only operational needs and annual performance targets, but also strengthen the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s readiness to carry out the next stages of its transformation,” he said.
