After 8 Years Guarding Jokowi, Major Windra Now Appointed as Kasdim Tigaraksa Tangerang

Major Inf Windra Sanur has received a new assignment as Chief of Staff of the Military District Command (Kasdim) in Tangerang Regency. This promotion came after eight years of guarding the seventh President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Windra bid farewell to Jokowi on Tuesday (21/4). He was seen wearing camouflage uniform and accompanied by his wife as he met Jokowi at his residence.

“Alhamdulillah, I have received the mandate of a new position and duty as Kasdim Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency,” said Windra when met in Sumber, Banjarsari, as reported by detikJateng on Wednesday (22/4/2026).

Previously, Major Windra served as Deputy Commander of Detachment 4 Group D of the Presidential Security Force. Windra stated that he had accompanied Jokowi for eight long years.

Over the years as Jokowi’s bodyguard, Windra admitted to gaining many extraordinary experiences, particularly in transforming his life.

“With him, there are extraordinary memories; I learned a lot for life. It has been an extraordinary change for me,” he said.
