After 22 Years in Operation, KPK Has Named 1,880 Suspects in Corruption Cases

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named a total of 1,880 individuals as corruption suspects over its 22-year history, namely from 2024 to 2026. “From the 1,880 corruption offences handled by the KPK, 1,720 offenders were male, while 160 were female,” said Asep Guntur Rahayu, Deputy for Enforcement and Execution at KPK, in a Media Briefing in Anyer, Banten, on Thursday (22/5/2026). “That means those involved in anti-corruption are from the female gender,” he added. “For example, in the public service sector.
