When commenting on an interim government in postwar Iraq,
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hassan Wirayuda was referring to
Indonesia's stance of not recognizing the Taliban regime in
Afghanistan, not the current government of Hamid Karzai as
appeared on the front page of The Jakarta Post edition on April
11, 2003. We apologize for the mistake.
