Affordable Staples Movement with Prabowo: Motorists Asked to Avoid Monas

Police are requesting motorists to avoid the Monas area in Central Jakarta today. This is because traffic in the Monas area is predicted to be congested.

The TMC of the Metro Jaya Police reported that President Prabowo Subianto will attend the Affordable Staples Movement event at Monas. The event starts at 10:00 WIB and continues until completion.

“In connection with the Affordable Staples Movement activity by the President of the Republic and the high intensity of the public touring at the end of the Eid holiday, we urge all motorists to avoid the Monas area,” the TMC of the Metro Jaya Police wrote on Instagram on Saturday (28/3/2026).

The public is advised to use alternative routes or public transport. This is to avoid traffic congestion.

“Please follow the directions of the officers on the ground for the sake of smooth and collective safety,” it added.
