Adidaya Institute Survey: Public Satisfied with Prabowo-Gibran's Performance, Supports MBG and KDKMP Programmes
The latest survey from the Adidaya Institute shows that the majority of the public is satisfied with the performance of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming. Referring to the survey conducted by the Adidaya Institute in May 2026, 68.2 percent of respondents were satisfied with the President’s performance, while 27.1 percent expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the two state leaders. “On average, it is still quite good. Around 68.2 percent are satisfied with the performance of the President and Vice President. Amid the threat of war and an increasingly uncertain global economic situation, this satisfaction figure is quite something to be proud of. We have to be honest,” said Ahmad Fadhli, Director of Politics and Public Policy at the Adidaya Institute, in a press statement on Wednesday, 10 June 2026. The survey also placed Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as the Minister with the best performance. A total of 36.8 percent of respondents chose Purbaya as the Minister with the best performance in serving the public. “Purbaya is the Minister with the best performance in the eyes of the respondents. President Prabowo’s Minister appears to be well-liked by the public,” said Fadhli. Fadhli assessed that public satisfaction is also influenced by optimism regarding the anti-corruption agenda, which is a commitment of the Prabowo-Gibran administration. The survey results noted that 68.8 percent of respondents believe the Prabowo-Gibran regime is working well and optimally in eradicating corruption. Concurrently, around 62.5 percent of respondents also believe that law enforcement under Prabowo’s leadership has been fair. “The public truly believes the Prabowo-Gibran administration has a major commitment to eradicating corruption. Especially with the latest case, where the Head and two Deputy Heads of the National Nutrition Agency were dismissed and arrested by the Attorney General’s Office. This is a sign that President Prabowo is even-handed in eradicating corruption,” he said. Therefore, based on the survey results, the public is not strongly demanding a cabinet reshuffle agenda be implemented in the near future. Only 48.1 percent of respondents agreed that a reshuffle must be carried out now. As many as 32.1 percent actually objected if President Prabowo were to carry out another reshuffle. “This could be a signal from the public for the cabinet to work even more optimally. The public is giving President Prabowo’s chosen Ministers the opportunity to show more optimal performance,” he said.
