Adhi Karya Shares Suspended by IDX Over Bond Interest Default
Shares of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) have been temporarily suspended across all markets by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
In an IDX information disclosure, Adi Pratomo Aryanto, Head of the IDX’s Corporate Assessment Division 2, explained that the regulator took the step because ADHI was unable to pay interest on two bonds that fell due on 24 August 2026.
The two bond interest payments are, firstly, the 17th interest payment on Adhi Karya’s Shelf Registration Bonds III Phase III Year 2022 Series B (ADHI03BCN3).
Secondly, the 17th interest payment on Adhi Karya’s Shelf Registration Bonds III Phase III Year 2022 Series C (ADHI03CCN3).
“The delay in paying the interest indicates that there are problems with the company’s business continuity,” Adi said in his statement on Monday, 24 August 2026.
He explained that the suspension of ADHI shares took effect from the pre-opening session on Monday, 24 August 2026, until further announcement from the Exchange.
The IDX has asked relevant parties to always pay attention to the information disclosures submitted by the company.
“Taking this into consideration, the Indonesia Stock Exchange has decided to temporarily suspend trading of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) securities across all markets,” Adi said.
“Effective from the pre-opening trading session on Monday, 24 August 2026, until further announcement from the Exchange,” he stated.
