Adhi Karya Integrates ESG, Reducing Risks and Improving Governance

PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk is strengthening the application of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles to improve governance and reduce business risks. This step is being taken through the reinforcement of a monitoring system and more structured measurement of sustainability performance. The company is also beginning to integrate ESG into its business processes as part of its long-term strategy. Adhi Karya’s Corporate Secretary, Rozy Sparta, stated that the strengthening of ESG is being carried out through the formation of an ESG Committee tasked with monitoring the implementation of the sustainability roadmap. This committee serves as an instrument to ensure that sustainability principles are incorporated into business decision-making. In addition, the company has established Corporate ESG Management Guidelines, reinforced by 11 ESG policies. These policies cover environmental, social, and governance aspects to ensure operations run more directed and measurable. Rozy said that the strengthening of governance has impacted the improvement of the company’s risk profile. “The company’s ESG risk score has successfully improved from 40.3 to 32.33, reflecting the effectiveness of the risk mitigation strategy and the strengthening of the sustainability management system implemented on an ongoing basis,” said Rozy on Wednesday (15/4/2026). To maintain consistency in implementation, the company also conducts annual internal assessments of its subsidiaries. This evaluation includes the identification of sustainability risks and the effectiveness of their management across all business lines. Several ESG awards received further reflect recognition of the application of these sustainability principles. The company assesses that strengthening ESG not only impacts operational performance but also long-term business sustainability.
