Adhi Karya Chief Apologises, Pledges to Resolve LRT City Problem
The President Director of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. (ADHI), Moeharmein Zein Chaniago, has apologised over the stalled LRT City project. As is known, the project is being developed by ADHI’s subsidiary, PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk. (ADCP).
The apology was conveyed before members of the media after he attended a meeting with consumer representatives, the BUMN Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN), Adhi Karya, and ADCP at the BP BUMN office on Tuesday (15/9/2026).
Zein assured that his side would oversee the resolution of this case in accordance with the timeline agreed upon by the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait, and the COO of Danantara/Head of BP BUMN, Dony Oskaria.
“We also apologise. As the holding company, as the President Director of the parent company, we are obliged to be truly concerned, to shepherd this project so it is completed according to the timeline set by Pak Ara and Pak Dony,” Zein told reporters at the BP BUMN office on Tuesday (15/9/2026).
BP BUMN and the Ministry of PKP have set a deadline of 1 October 2026 to inventory the number of victims of the stalled LRT City project. Zein said follow-up meetings and finalisation of the matter would take place between 10 and 15 October 2026.
“Therefore, I will monitor it, and by 1 October we should be able to see clearly whether all the issues from the inventory have been submitted,” Zein said.
Zein stressed that Danantara, as the controlling shareholder of ADCP, has demanded that the project be completed to the highest quality.
“So that no more consumers or victims are wronged. That was the very clear and firm instruction from the Head of Danantara and from the Minister,” Zein said.
