Ade to seek Asian title

JAKARTA (JP): The 1995 Asian bodybuilding champion, Ade Rai,
is set to try his luck once again in the contest in Ho Chi Minh
City beginning next Tuesday.

Ade, also the 1996 Asia Pro-Am champion in Macau, will compete
in the light heavyweight division in the southern Vietnamese
city. The annual event will be held on two consecutive days.

He said Pusan, the South Korean city which will host the 2002
Asian Games, had bid to have the sport included as a medal event.
Indonesia supports the proposal, according to secretary-general
of the national weightlifting, powerlifting and bodybuilding
association Djoko Pramono. (yan)
