Ade Jona Prasetyo Acclaimed as Chairman of HIPMI for 2026-2029

Ade Jona Prasetyo has been officially acclaimed as the General Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPP HIPMI) for the 2026-2029 period. The decision was taken during the plenary session of the XVIII HIPMI National Congress (Munas) held in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, on 10-11 June 2026. The XVIII HIPMI National Congress, bearing the theme ‘Synergy of Young Entrepreneurs Building National Economic Strength’, was officially opened by President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (10/6). The presence of the Head of State, accompanied by several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, affirmed HIPMI’s strategic role as a government partner in driving national economic growth. The previous Chairman of BPP HIPMI, Akbar Himawan Buchari, stated that Ade Jona’s acclamation reflected the organisation’s solidity. He expressed hope that the new leadership would maintain cadre unity and strengthen synergy between the central and regional levels. In his inaugural speech as Chairman-elect, Ade Jona Prasetyo affirmed his commitment to embrace all elements of the organisation. He championed the spirit of ‘contesting to unite’ to ensure HIPMI remains a big tent for young entrepreneurs across Indonesia. Aside from the election agenda, the XVIII National Congress also featured the HIPMI Business Forum and business matching sessions.
