The Task Force for the Acceleration of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (Satgas PRR) is continuing to oversee the accelerated utilisation of Additional Regional Transfers (TKD) in Dairi Regency to ensure the recovery programme delivers tangible benefits to the community. This commitment was highlighted during a TKD management assistance meeting held at the Dairi Regent’s Office Hall on Tuesday, 30 June 2026. The meeting brought together the Satgas PRR, the Directorate General of Regional Finance at the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Dairi Regency Government. Maurits Panjaitan, Secretary of the Directorate General of Regional Finance, stated that the central government has prepared assistance for regions to ensure programme implementation complies with regulations. He said local governments should not hesitate to seek consultation and help. “Please do, we have a team ready to explain,” Maurits said. Maurits reminded that the success of utilising the Additional TKD is not solely measured by the amount of budget absorbed, but also by the results felt by the community. Every activity must demonstrate clear outputs and achievements so that the benefits of state spending can be measured objectively. “The programme must be checked from the output or achievement side,” he said. Local governments are also required to submit periodic progress reports on activity implementation. These reports serve as an important instrument for the central government to monitor programme realisation and evaluate the effectiveness of fund usage. “Remember, there is an obligation for us to report periodically,” he stated. To maintain accountability, the Ministry of Home Affairs has prepared a uniform reporting format to facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of the Additional TKD implementation across regions. Dairi Regent Vickner Sinaga stated that the local government is ready to follow up on all inputs provided during the assistance session. He also requested that all regional apparatus organisations (OPD) be more disciplined in submitting programme implementation reports. “One thing that is often neglected is reporting. Ensure you report periodically,” said Vickner. Dairi Regency received an Additional TKD allocation of Rp 120.31 billion to support development and recovery acceleration in the region. The funds are allocated across several sectors, including Rp 7.11 billion for health, Rp 64.19 billion for infrastructure, Rp 0.35 billion for agriculture, and Rp 48.41 billion for other matters. The complete details of the budget utilisation for the 2026 fiscal year have been finalised and officially stipulated through Regent Regulation (Perbup) No. 8/2026.
