ADB's loan for RI
MANILA (AFP): The Asian Development Bank (ADB) yesterday approved a loan of US$87.4 million for an Indonesian program to control communicable diseases, the bank said in a statement.
The delivery of health services to 17 million people, including two million children below five years old, 10 million young adults and 25,000 with early-stage tuberculosis will be upgraded, the Manila-based bank said.
Provinces that will benefit from the project are South Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, South Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara, it said.
