Hanoi (ANTARA) - Vietnam’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to grow by 7.2 percent in 2026 and 7 percent in 2027. This is according to the Vietnam News Agency, citing a report released by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Friday (10/4).

Inflation in the Southeast Asian country is also projected to rise to 4 percent this year and fall to 3.8 percent in 2027, the report stated.

According to the ADB, Vietnam faces the risk of a significant slowdown in growth amid prolonged conflicts in the Middle East, as well as uncertainties surrounding US tariff policies and economic slowdowns among several of its major trading partners, the report added.
