ADB ups lending rate

MANILA (AFP): The Asian Development Bank said yesterday that its lending rate on its U.S. dollar loan facility was raised to 6.82 percent a year from 6.79 percent.

The rate on multi-currency loans remained at 6.0 percent per annum, the Manila-based bank said, adding the new lending rates apply from July 1 to Dec. 31, 1997.
