ADB to disburse fund to fight malnutrition

MAKASSAR: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will disburse a US$15
million fund to help finance programs related to malnutrition
problems. The fund will be disbursed in stages over five years
starting in August this year, said Armyn Nurdin, the chief of
Makassar Health Office, without disclosing whether the fund was a
grant or soft loan.

Armyn said that total number of people suffering from
malnutrition in Makassar currently was 41 and they would be the
first target of the programs. -- Antara
